We are making some changes to the concept we had last year. We were not unhappy with what we did last year, but it is in our nature to want to develop and do things a little better each time.

We are adjusting the concept a bit. We will have a slightly larger menu and open the doors at 12:00, last food order will be 20:00. We have so many good ingredients in the summer, so we will expand the menu with more small dishes such as gratin marrowbone, scallops, humpback salmon, tartare, local cheeses and other delicious dishes. Eat one dish and get a little full, or sit for a long time and eat several small dishes. The wine list from the restaurant will also be available here, so there are good opportunities to get something good by the glass. Summer, midnight sun, sitting outside, delicious food and drinks – it doesn't get much better than that, does it?

Opening hours

All of this opens on Saturday, June 21st and is open every day all summer until August 6th – except June 23rd and 24th. Table reservations will not be available for groups of more than 6 people. In that case, send an email to booking@kvitnes.com but for those of you who are fewer than 6 people. Don't worry, we have plenty of space, and if you don't get a table right away, take a walk around the farm first.

Farm shop

We inherited the old refrigerated counter from Butikken på Hennes. Thank you very much! We have big plans to fill it with salads, oils, eggs and much more – depending on what we have available and surplus.

Bakery

This summer we have hired a French and a Polish baker. We have also bought a rolling pin. It would be foolish not to take advantage of it! Come and eat croissants, sourdough bread and other delicious pastries. We also bake so much that you can buy some to take home! Even more reasons to visit us this summer.
