How do I make a reservation?

Can Kvitnes farm accommodate larger events?
Our barn comprises a flexible event space, which can accommodate approximately 100 dining guests. The setting will provide a splendid backdrop for wedding receptions, birthdays, conventions, seminars, presentations, Christmas parties, summer parties, conferences, workshops, launches, fairs etc. Please contact us by email booking@kvitnes.com

What are your opening hours?
We are open to regular reservations on Fridays and Saturdays. Smaller parties and corporate events are welcome on weekdays.

Where can I find Kvitnes farm?
Kvitnes farm is situated at the foot of the Møysalen mountain, on Hinnøya island in Vesterålen

What type of food do you serve at Kvitnes?
No two days are the same, and menus are never repeated. Aside from sugar, flour and wine, we will aim to exclusively use local ingredients from Vesterålen, Senja and Lofoten. In the restaurant, we only serve a large tasting menu of twenty courses. We provide wine pairing to complement the dishes. There is also a non-alchoholic drink pairing option. The menu will amaze you, you will feel astonished by how savoury a carrot can be, and hopefully you will leave Kvitnes as an altered person

How do you cater to food allergies?
We will certainly take food allergies into consideration when preparing your meals, but it is critical that we are informed at least one week ahead of your arrival. We wish to create your dishes with courtesy, and to attune them to your menu and your allergies. Please contact us by email: booking@kvitnes.com

How long will a meal at Kvitnes last?
A dinner will last approximately four hours – so book the evening. This is an experience – not a meal.

What happens if we are late?Have you not arrived by 7 pm, you will miss the opening of the tasting menu and thus some of the dishes.

Do you offer gift cards?
Follow this link to purchase gift cards. Please note that gift vouchers must be spent within one year.

Do you offer a kid’s menu?
No, there is only one set tasting menu in the restaurant. Children are welcome to dine with us, but the menu and price will be the same as for adults. This does not apply for private or corporate events.

Are your facilities accessible for people with disabilities?
Absolutely. However, we do wish to be informed beforehand, so we can further facilitate to your specific requirements. Please contact us by email booking@kvitnes.com.

May we spend the night at Kvitnes?
We have nine double rooms, of which one can accommodate up to four people. You can either book your accommodation at the time of your dinner reservation, or send us an email: booking@kvitnes.com. Breakfast is included in your overnight stay.

What time is dinner served?
We serve our dinner at 7 pm. This applies to all guests.

Do you have a specific dress code?
Kvitnes is an operating farm in the arctic climate of Vesterålen, and thus requires that you bring proper footwear and a warm coat. Occasionally – if the elements approve - we will serve some of our dishes outside, in the granary or in the cellar.
