We are looking for more talented people who want to become part of our team in Vesterålen, Northern Norway.

Kvitnes Gård is a working farm, a small hotel and the world's northernmost Michelin restaurant. We grow our own vegetables, keep animals, collaborate closely with the people around us and strive to create something that is genuinely rooted in the place we live.

We are not located in a city. We are on a farm surrounded by mountains, fjords, fields and sea. We are a small team that works closely together. Some days are long, others are unpredictable, and things don't always go exactly as planned.

At the same time, there are good opportunities to learn, come up with your own ideas, and help shape what Kvitnes will become.

We have more ideas than we have hands, and there's still a lot we haven't figured out. Come and find out with us.

Vacancies

  • Our restaurant works a little differently than most others.

    All guests sit down at the same time, are served the same menu and share the experience throughout the evening. It is a long dinner with many small details, and we want it to be experienced as personal, relaxed and genuinely welcoming.

    We are looking for someone who enjoys taking care of people. Someone who notices the little things, knows when it is right to take initiative, and when guests should be given some space.

    Experience from a Michelin restaurant or equivalent is something we greatly value. But just as important is who you are, how you collaborate with others, and how you make people feel good.

    You will work closely with our restaurant manager and help to further develop the service, drink offerings and experience we want to create at Kvitnes.

    We are still in a developmental phase, trying new things and constantly working to improve. We want someone who enjoys being part of this process, and not just following a fixed set of rules.

    This is a 100% permanent position starting in January or February 2027, by further agreement.

  • Mornings at Kvitnes are a little different than evenings, but just as important.

    We are looking for someone who likes people, enjoys creating pleasant environments and doesn't mind having varied work tasks.

    You will serve breakfast, take care of our guests, handle payments, check in guests, contribute during lunch service, keep order and help prepare the restaurant for the evening.

    Some days will be busy, others a little quieter. There will always be something that needs to be done.

    You don't need to know everything before you start. We are more interested in finding someone who is pleasant, positive, practical and willing to help where needed.

    Most importantly, our guests feel welcome and well taken care of, from the moment they arrive until they depart.

    Subject: Breakfast Host

  • We have a small hotel, a restaurant and several buildings around the farm. Making sure everything is clean, comfortable and welcoming is an important part of what we do.

    We are looking for someone who is committed to creating good and pleasant environments, and who takes pride in their work.

    The tasks consist of cleaning guest rooms, common areas for both guests and employees, as well as helping with washing dishes and other necessary work.

    This is a hands-on job and a very important part of the overall experience. We are looking for someone who works well independently, pays attention to detail and enjoys being part of a small team where everyone helps each other.

    You don't need experience from a luxury hotel, but you must be committed to doing a good job.
